Deepika is an associate lawyer at SiLaw Group. She completed her articling term at the firm and returned as an associate lawyer, where she focuses her practice on family law matters. She also practices wills and estates.

Prior to attending law school, Deepika graduated in 2021 from Simon Fraser University with a Bachelor of Arts and Social Sciences in Criminology and Sociology and minor in Psychology. This interdisciplinary academic background informs her family law practice, particularly in matters involving human behaviour, conflict resolution, and complex family dynamics.

Deepika received her LL.B. (JD Pathway) with First Class Honours in 2023 from the University of Leicester in the United Kingdom, completing the National Committee on Accreditation (NCA) qualifications in 2024. She is passionate about continuing legal education and professional development.

 

In her practice, Deepika takes a client centred and empathetic approach. She strives to provide practical, compassionate, and clear legal guidance, recognizing that family law matters are often emotionally complex. She is dedicated to advocating effectively for her clients while helping them navigate difficult transitions with confidence and clarity.

Outside of the office, Deepika enjoys spending time with her family and her goldendoodle Simba, sipping coffee at new cafés, and going for walks while taking in scenic views.

Deepika is fluent in English and Punjabi.
