Irin joined SiLaw Group as an Associate Counsel in September 2021.

 

Prior to attending law school, Irin graduated from University of British Columbia (UBC) with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Sciences. He received his Juris Doctor Degree from Thompson Rivers University (TRU) in 2020. During this time, he was a member of the TRU South Asian Law Students Association and took
part in the Law Students’ Legal Advice Program at UBC.

 

Originally, Irin joined SiLaw Group as an articling student in January 2021 became qualified as a lawyer in September 2021. His focus is primarily on family law and wills and estates. He pays attention to details and has great advocacy skills in both the Provincial Court of BC and Supreme Court of BC. While he fights vigorously for his clients, he has the ability to take a client focused approach towards issues and redirect matters in an effort to avoid litigation. Irin is highly skilled at drafting cohabitation agreements, separation agreements, wills, representation agreements and power of attorneys.

While away from the office, Irin enjoys spending time with his family, hiking, skiing, and catching up on his favorite tv shows. Irin is fluent in English and Punjabi.
