Free Consultation With a Surrey Family Lawyer

30 minutes with a family lawyer in Surrey, by Zoom, telephone or in person at our office.

  • Free

The first 30 minutes cost nothing.

  • Confidential

Everything you tell us stays private.

  • No obligation

    Leave with options, not pressure.

Choose a time that works for you

Booking is handled by Acuity Scheduling. The name, email and any details you enter there are shared with Acuity in order to schedule your appointment. Please don’t include confidential details about your matter in the booking notes. Save those for the consultation itself. If the calendar doesn’t load, call (778) 381-9977.

Prefer not to book online? Call us and we’ll find a time that suits you, usually within a few days. Consultations are available for Family Law and Mediation matters.

You can also use the contact form and we’ll call you back the same business day.

A consultation provides legal information about your options; a lawyer-client relationship begins only when a retainer is confirmed.

Who you will meet, and what to expect

One of our four family lawyers

Your consultation is with Sandy Sihota, Irin Sidhu, Pritesh Pachchigar or Deepika Bhardwaj. Sandy, the firm’s founder, is an accredited Family Law Mediator, Family Law Arbitrator and Parenting Coordinator.

What the 30 minutes covers

Whatever stage of separation you are at, you leave with an overview of what to expect in your matter and sensible next steps, with no strings attached to hiring us. In English or Punjabi.

Legal Aid BC clients

If you have qualified for services through Legal Aid BC, or want to apply, choose the Legal Aid consultation option when booking so we can direct you to the right lawyer for your case.

If your time or format is not available

Consultations run by Zoom, by telephone, and in person at Unit 201, 3108 Croydon Drive in South Surrey. If we cannot meet at the time and in the format you selected, a member of our staff will reach out by phone or email to rebook.

Read before your consultation

What to bring

  • Two pieces of government-issued identification (we may ask for copies by email in advance)
  • A short timeline of your situation (a few bullet points is fine)
  • Any existing court orders or agreements
  • A rough list of assets, debts and incomes (even approximate)
  • Your questions, written down so nothing gets missed
